地铁3号线是成都市一条西南-东北方向的地铁主干线，起于双流西站，止于成都医学院站，一期工程于2016年7月31日开通运营，二三期已于2018年12月26日正式开始试运营，该地铁线已成为成都线路最长（约50公里），车站最多（37座）的运营线路。
The second and third phases of Chengdu Metro Line 3 were put into operation on December 26, 2018. The first phase of the line was open on July 31, 2013.
同步可在省体育馆站换乘地铁1号线，春熙路站换乘地铁2号线，市二医院站换乘地铁4号线，驷马桥站换乘地铁7号线，太平园站换乘地铁10号线。
With 37 stations along the way, Line 3 now stretches about 49.9km and is the longest metro route in Chengdu, connecting Shuangliu District in the south and Xindu District in the north. It starts from Shuangliu West Station and intersects with Line 1 at Sichuan Gymnasium, with Line 2 at Chunxi Road, with Line 4 at Second Chengdu People's Hospital, with Line 7 at Simaqiao and with Line 10 at Taipingyuan.
